Freedman has full time commodity buyers in Houston who focus all day, every day, on a specific product category to insure that we own our raw materials at the lowest possible price. The nearly four million pounds of product we buy weekly gives us the leverage we need to aid us in meeting our goal to stay competitive. This, coupled with the fact that we are skilled in forward pricing, helps you control your meat costs.
